Phoenix Magazine: Lalo Cota Teams Up with Local Food Bank to Create Arizona-Inspired Fruit Mural

Previously, Cota has painted murals on the exterior walls of Phoenix schools as part of the health care giant’s community-supporting program. Although his artwork usually depicts funky skeletons and Chicano themes, he believes in the “Holy Trinity of art, food and music,” which his Nourish Phoenix mural showcases in its round shapes and bright colors.
