Yoga means “union” and is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India more than 5,000 years ago and aims to control and still the mind, recognizing a detached witness-consciousness untouched by the mind and mundane suffering.
This practice uses gentle movements to open the body through various styles linking movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body using various physical techniques to attempt to preserve and channel the vital force or energy.
No Experience Needed, Only a Will to Learn! Please be in a quiet spot while attending class
About the instructor:
Michael has been practicing yoga and Zumba for over 20 years before getting certified as an instructor. Michael is passionate about group fitness and is a Registered Yoga Teacher!
